Position Summary

As a “Junior Key Account Manager”, you will provide strong support to the KAM team in terms of analytics & selling stories to help them seize business opportunities. You will also grow as a talent in the organization by developing and implementing annual customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives for smaller accounts.

A day in the life of a Junior KAM

  • Manage your own account negotiations, execution, and P&L, through creating and executing customer plans that are aligned with business objectives and customer strategies
  • Support the KAM Team through analysis, creation of dashboards and sharing of insights
  • Prepare engaging selling stories for customer visits, preparation for T2T meetings
  • Drive regional agenda internally & externally by working cross category (confectionery, coffee, culinary…) and cross channel
  • Coordinate with Field Sales Force team & KAM team
  • Support management team in project management
  • Regular commercial & digital trainings
  • Adhere to all Company principles and policies including Nestlé trade policy, local Sales policy, local Trade Terms, Safety and legal regulations

What will make you successful

  • University Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent
  • Successful first experience in Field Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Marketing
  • Category Development experience with a CPG, distributor, or retail operations would be a plus
  • Team player, full of initiatives and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Drive to reach targets, proven negotiation skills, resilience, and stress resistance
  • Fluent in German (ideally Swiss German), French and English
