Internship - Group Real Estate

You will be introduced to a broad spectrum of topics while working on several priorities in close collaboration with many team members in a truly international environment.

The role provides a great opportunity to collaborate closely with many experts, while being empowered to bring in and present own ideas.

What you will do

• Support implementation of our real estate sustainability strategy and coordinate data collection and consolidation with local real estate teams
• Support the implementation of new portfolio management system modules
• Support a cloud project and other strategic digital projects
• Coordinate training sessions for local real estate teams
• Coordinate recurring project meetings
• Oversight and tracking of issue management tool
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• Set up and maintain automated data processes
• Collect, analyze and import financial and property management data
• Monitor and audit data quality
• Support of planning, budgeting, forecasting, compliance management and investment controlling on Group level
• Support performance evaluation, reporting, benchmarking, and risk management

What you bring

• Master’s degree with a focus on investments, finance, banking or economics
• Relevant experience in one of the following areas: real estate asset management, sustainability, property management, accounting, digitalization, data management and operations preferably within an insurance or other financial institution
• CAIA/CFA qualification or working towards one is an advantage
• Excellent Excel skills and openness to explore different MS tools
• Business fluent in English
• A team-oriented talent and a strong communicator, able to work in a dynamic and everchanging environment
• Given the current situation, we might offer this job opportunity virtually. Key stakeholders are based in Zurich, Switzerland
• Considering the current travel restrictions, you must be located in Switzerland or able to travel and base yourself in Switzerland for the duration of the working student contract
• At the time of the internship, you need to be enrolled at university or a center of further education.
