Product Graphics Designer (m/f)

Location : Geneva

As a Product Graphics Designer, you will be responsible to lead Product Graphics on Baby Care Products. This role is critical for creating, deploying and overseeing a brand’s iconic expression over time through heritage, purpose and strategic equities. It requires visionary leadership to inspire creation of a brand touchpoint and deployment.

You will be:

  • Leading the designs of the exterior of the diaper product by leading the creative strategy and concept development.
  • Developing the pattern and character designs, as well as handmaking and prototyping.
  • Able to develop designs in a 2D context that can translate appropriately to a 3D surface pattern design on product.
  • Influencing designs across functions . This type of work is driven by external trends and movements; specifically, a fashion mindset. Understanding the inflection point and the reasonable connection to product experience is paramount. It includes delivering design strategy and execution with excellence that leads to successful launches of our initiatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • BS or BA in Fashion, Textile or Graphic Design required.
  • Expertise in leading design strategy and execution.
  • A Portfolio demonstrating strong design mastery.
  • A keen eye and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the latest creative and business software (Adobe CS and Microsoft Office 365).
  • Strong project management skills: Must be able to demonstrate the ability to optimally lead multiple, complex projects, including setting overall strategy and executing with excellence.
  • Proactive leadership skills and the ability to identify design opportunities that can impact the business.
  • Proficient English required - written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for the integration of design with technology with a desire to experiment and explore new ideas: Able to connect consumer insights, technology, socio-cultural and market trends in significant ways to uniquely solve design challenges. A good base knowledge in printing processes is recommended (flexographic, gravure etc).
  • Ability to generate ideas and solve issues by critical thinking and a structured approach using existing expertise, recommend solutions and to seek right resources for complex problems.
  • Strong collaboration skills across functions that can encourage teams in Design, R&D and marketing; professional ability to set project direction and drive it to successful completion
