To lead our Product Management Marketing and Heritage Departments at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking for a

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT MARKETING (M/F/X - 100%)

In this position, the AD Product Management Marketing leads the product strategy for all our watch families. The responsibility includes the performance of all strategic tasks for new product launches, including performance analysis of existing collections, competitor benchmarking, quality Issue analysis, positioning of the product families, client analysis, pricing, product naming, and legal validation. This position is a member of the extended executive board of IWC Schaffhausen and has a direct reporting line to our CMO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, manage and mentor the Product Management Marketing and Heritage team (7+ headcounts)
  • Define, plan and own strategic portfolio planning for all product families:
    • Elaborate optimal collection-line up (including accessories), positioning, pricing & profitability
    • Contribute to technical innovation roadmap and movement strategy, ensure close alignment with product launch plan
    • Prepare and lead strategy meetings with the executive committee
    • Drive approval of product strategy by Richemont top management
    • Coordinate IWC 3 years strategic plan
    • Monitor competition and lead global customer research
  • Bridge gap between technical and creative teams and Marketing Communication teams, while continuously building trust with key stakeholders in the organization to align multiple teams and deliver on strategic initiatives
  • Implement product launch strategy, ensure alignment with 360° campaigns, MarCom partnerships and eCom strategy
  • Represent product perspective in the cross functional activation committee as well as our sustainability committee
  • Elaborate product presentations and acts as a product expert in the press taskforce for journalists, collectors, and very-important-customers
  • Oversee product data for the company’s website and all digital channels (product content management and enhancement of the IT landscape)
  • Oversee IWC heritage team, ensure continuous enhancement of the IWC museum and its services, ensure integration of product heritage in future collections

YOUR PROFILE:

  • University degree (preferably master’s degree) in business administration or marketing
  • 8+ years’ experience in leading cross-functional teams in the area of global product management (preferably in the Luxury, Automotive or FMCG industry)
  • A passion for watches and luxury watch brands as well as a general interest in technical products
  • Knowledge of standard computer programs, basic knowledge of SAP and product data management is a plus
  • Trustworthy, creative, and outgoing personality who is not afraid to challenge and regularly interact with members of the executive committee
