What you do

• Ensuring optimal procurement of aircraft components and contract negotiations in the area of responsibility including strategic and functional procurement responsibilities
• Responsible for an active and successful supplier management
• Collaboration with internal departments including leading projects and meetings
• Price negotiations, cost monitoring, negotiate and achieve cost reductions
• Continuous and timely SAP data maintenance, documentation and archiving of procurement data according to internal processes
• Active participation in the improvement of procurement processes and management of cross-divisional projects

What you bring

• Basic commercial or technical educational background with further experience in procurement or several years of experience in operational and strategic procurement
• University degree e.g. in Engineering, International Management and/or Economics is required
• Avionics experience is mandatory
• Experienced in working with SAP MM module and good knowledge of MS Office tools
• English (min. C1) spoken and written, German or other languages are an advantage
