The Global Commercial Insurance Academy is a dedicated, global team based in Zurich, Switzerland. We focus on creating and delivering learning through a variety of online and offline delivery channels to our global employees. What you will do

As an intern for the Global Commercial Insurance Academy, you help the Program Manager ensure their learning programs run smoothly from start to finish, by managing and overseeing the complete process of organizing multiple training sessions during the year. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Project management:

  • Organizational set up of workshops including pre- and post-work material
  • High accountability on tasks and activities
  • Creation and updating of training materials
  • Help with the design of our learning channels
  • Support our workshop facilitators in using MS Teams technology
  • Posting announcements in MS Teams and sending email reminders
  • Tracking responses and progress in our online platform and in MS Forms
  • Creating and sending reports as needed
  • Exploring creative solutions that offer continuous improvement

  • Explore the creation of new, innovative experiences for our learning by utilizing new technology, ex. Chat bots, gamification, etc

What you bring

As an intern in the Global Commercial Insurance Academy, you will likely be

  • Currently matriculated student in a bachelor’s course or equivalent. You must be enrolled in university for the duration of this role.

  • Highly organized and attentive to detail, with an ability to multi-task with strong trouble-shooting and analytical skills

  • Experienced in project management. A good team player and keen to create value in a team

  • Interpersonal skills and capable of fostering positive working relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels

  • Experienced in a similar organizational coordination role

  • Good communicator in both written and verbal exchanges

  • Able to work across different regions and time-zones to achieve both group and individual goals

  • An effective user of standard software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and standard Office tools

  • Proactive, customer-focused and responsible

  • Proficient knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Additional languages a plus
