Your Role
- Intercompany accounting (including reconciliations)
- Petty cash and travel disbursement administration
- Expense management (weekly expense report expedition, etc.)
- Collection of overdue receivables
- Account reconciliation of several GL-accounts
- Cash book and bank reconciliation
- Asset accounting (depreciation of the fixed assets)
- AP management
- Support the Finance Controller on special tasks and projects
Requirements
- Industrial company with global presence

Support the local Finance team with AP/AR and certain GL tasks
- Experience in a similar role with exposure to AP/AR
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle would be considered a strong advantage
- Strong Excel knowledge
- Ability to work with strict reporting deadlines and adhere to them
- Fluent in English, German a big plus
- Organized, reliable and independent personality
About This Client
Our client is a globally active industrial company that services its clients in the oil and gas industry, steel mills, electricity plants among other fields. Due to a maternity leave we are currently looking for a motivated accounting assistant for at least 10 months (from October onwards) to support the local Finance team.

In this challenging function you will be supporting the local Controller with AP/AR, expenses, intercompany, account reconciliations and cash management. Furthermore you will support on the asset accounting and support on ad-hoc projects and assignments.
