Your Role

  • Intercompany accounting (including reconciliations)
  • Petty cash and travel disbursement administration
  • Expense management (weekly expense report expedition, etc.)
  • Collection of overdue receivables
  • Account reconciliation of several GL-accounts
  • Cash book and bank reconciliation
  • Asset accounting (depreciation of the fixed assets)
  • AP management
  • Support the Finance Controller on special tasks and projects

Requirements

  • Industrial company with global presence
  • Support the local Finance team with AP/AR and certain GL tasks

  • Experience in a similar role with exposure to AP/AR
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle would be considered a strong advantage
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work with strict reporting deadlines and adhere to them
  • Fluent in English, German a big plus
  • Organized, reliable and independent personality

About This Client

Our client is a globally active industrial company that services its clients in the oil and gas industry, steel mills, electricity plants among other fields. Due to a maternity leave we are currently looking for a motivated accounting assistant for at least 10 months (from October onwards) to support the local Finance team.

In this challenging function you will be supporting the local Controller with AP/AR, expenses, intercompany, account reconciliations and cash management. Furthermore you will support on the asset accounting and support on ad-hoc projects and assignments.
