Description

The Asset Configuration Manager is responsible for establishing a robust Configuration Management process and for the management of SW assets in the area of the BU Switzerland or partly the country Switzerland in the following areas:

  • EWP (electronic Workplace) Software License Management
  • License Management of ASP - Application Software Provider
  • Validation of the ISP (Infrastructure) Licenses

Your Role

As an Asset Configuration Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Successful delivery of control services:
  • Self-contained steering of local operational EWP License management
  • Create compliance reports in the EWP area
  • Ongoing improvement of data quality including reporting capabilities
  • Maintaining ASP SW License Inventory including contract management.
  • Managing ASP Lifecycle in close alignment with the local Application Owner
  • ISP SW Validation in close alignment with central team.
  • Establishing Configuration Management Framework with involved stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality and integrity within the CMS

Your Skills and Experience

As an Asset Configuration Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Qualification as an IT Engineer / Graduate
  • 2 years of experience in IT services, particularly in asset management
  • Project Management knowledge
  • Asset Management experience mainly in the EWP / ISP area
  • Product knowledge for Service Now
  • Experience with Reporting tools as Qlikview - or Excel / Access
  • Capability to report to business / IT stakeholders
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English
