Internship in Business Development & Innovation, 50%, temporary

Zurich is market leading in the international program business serving large commercial customers with an international footprint. The Business Development, Transformation & Innovation Team within the Commercial Insurance International Program unit (CI IP) steers the strategic and tactical development of international program business globally by leading strategic projects within the areas of business development & products/solutions, operating model & transformation as well as technology & innovation.

Your Role

As an Intern your main responsibilities will involve:

• Lead or support a workstream or drive various deliverable of the projects for CI IP. These strategic and international projects are by nature highly complex with significant business impact globally and require multi-faceted change management, strong communications and stakeholder management
• Contributing in the shaping and steering of the strategic and tactical development of CI IP

Your Skills and Experience

As an Intern your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• High proficiency in project management and agile and lean methodologies
• High proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
• Strong communication and leadership skills to adapt to the various levels of the organization, including Group / CI Exec, and across countries and functions
• Strong skills in working internationally and change management to influence countries and leadership teams and align them around delivering and supporting strategic objectives
• Savviness in new technologies and innovation preferred

• Highly motivated, strongly performing, thinking outside of the box, highly organized, “can do” attitude, flair for people, strong delivery track record
  Education / Experience

• Bachelor degree or equivalent (ideally in Business Administration / Economics, Informatics / Computing or Engineering)
• Project management / consulting experience with background in agile and lean methodologies
• Background in Insurance / Financial Services / Fintechs / Insurtechs preferred
• Proficient in English and German; any additional language of advantage
