Reserving Actuarial Analyst (m/f) 80-100%, temporary

In this role based in Zurich you are part of the Centre of Excellence CoE Zurich. The CoE Zurich is responsible for reserving General Insurance business in various European countries.

Your Role

As a Reserving Actuarial Analyst CoE your main responsibilities will involve:

• Process and prepare data for actuarial analysis
• Prepare and perform experience monitoring, and set up loss projections for selected portfolios
• Ensure adherence and proper documentation of risk controls and processes
• Support the quarterly reporting of reserves and other deliverables
• Support the production of diagnostics and business partnering reports

Your Skills and Experience

As a Reserving Actuarial Analyst CoE your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Good data skills. Experience with SAS will be an advantage.
• Good programming skills. Experience with VBA will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and conscious of deadlines.
• Showing enthusiasm and having positive attitude.
• German language skills are not a requirement but will be an advantage.

Primary work location is Zurich-Oerlikon.
