Our pensions team provides advice to a range of clients in connection with acquisitions and divestitures, accounting standards and actuarial valuations.

If you wish to write your master thesis in cooporation with KPMG during your Internship, we are open to support you.

Responsibilities & Profile

Your contribution to KPMG

  • Support projects and develop solutions to actuarial/consulting problems for corporate clients (e.g. international pension M&A due diligence)
  • Perform actuarial valuations of pensions and other employee benefit arrangements
  • Help the KPMG Audit function to review defined benefit pension accounting across a range of accounting standards
  • Assist in the development of proposals and initiatives in order to win new business

This is what makes you successful

  • University degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, economics, natural sciences or finance, major in actuarial mathematics is an asset
  • Proficient Business English skills, German skills are an advantage
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office (Excel VBA)
  • Curious mindset, independent and outgoing personality who fosters collaboration and develops innovative solutions
