Your role

Are you trustworthy in driving the business forward? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly? We’re looking for someone like that who can provide business-related services.

Our Graduate Training Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with gifted professionals and gaining first-hand experience of how the business works. As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll receive an intensive education on the financial markets, UBS products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are an essential part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a fuller knowledge of the business. Beside all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know people from across UBS

Banking Products act as a link between the operational units and the markets. Emphasis is placed on product innovation, product management, processes and implementation. Units like Lending Solutions, Cash Solutions, Card & Payment Solutions and Pension Services are performing theses activities.

Your main activities are:

• Support projects in all units of Banking Products
• Design new or redesign existing products incl. business case development
• Support launch of new products
• Support daily operational product management
• Run ad-hoc analysis, produce opportunity lists and reports
• Review pricing models
• Review processes
• Compile presentations for senior management decisions
• Set-up product campaigns
• Close cooperation mostly with internal partners from all UBS Divisions such as Wealth Management & Swiss Bank, IB Investment Bank or Corporate Centre to develop/structure solutions.

Your experience and skills
You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree. In particular, you have:

• the ability to take responsibility and stay focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude
• excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure)
• strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• good working skills with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)

You are:

• client service focused
• autonomous and self-driven
• proactive and reliable
• flexible, adaptable and pragmatic
• fluent in English and German
