Your role

Do you have the ability to stand by agile principles while delivering sustainable solutions? Would you like to be a part of an inspiring team? We’re looking for someone like that to:

• Design and implement user-friendly frontend applications with JavaScript (React) to rebuild UBS e-Banking from scratch
• Deploy the new applications into test environments and assure high quality software deliveries
• Become part of a strong team and contribute to team success
• Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into technical designs
• Challenge the status quo and come up with new ideas and solutions

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 24 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working within our UI team focusing on building frontend applications for UBS e-Banking. We are empowered by our business willing to rebuild the whole UBS e-Banking. We do use newest technology stack to bring broad functionality and great usability to our clients.
We are organized in digital factories working with agile methodologies. In doing so we are having close interactions and fast decision processes.
This is the place, where we create our award winning solutions for UBS e-banking. It’s a very demanding, fast paced and exciting environment.
The financial markets are complex, varied and ever changing - and technology is an integral part of the way they work. For you, working in our technology function means challenge, innovation, variety and a chance to work with the latest developments in IT as they happen.

Your expertise

You need have finished your bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with a focus on software engineering.
In particular, you have:

• a strong basis on at least one programming language, preferably in JavaScript
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• sharp analytical and problem solving skills
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
• an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
• excellent English skills (written and oral) and preferably knowledge of German

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

• analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
• plan, organize and communicate well
• make things happen
• stick with a task
• work in a team
• come up with ideas
