Your role

Are you intersted in learning how financial derivatives can be used to construct bespoke solutions for clients? We’re looking for someone like that to:

• Carry out qualitative as well as quantitative analysis on market factors vs. client requirements
• Produce marketing documents aimed at internal and external clients
• Produce pre-trade and post-trade documentation
• Price exotic derivatives through UBS systems
• Collaborate on ad-hoc projects

Your team

You’ll be working in the FRC Solutions team in Zurich, which comprises Trading and Sales professionals.
Our role focuses on the creation and marketing of bespoke client solutions through the use of derivative products and the interaction with all other functions of the bank.
We serve clients globally either directly or indirectly through the local sales force.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

• an interest in financial markets, numbers, models and products
• sharp analytical and problem solving skills
• a structured work style, confident working autonomously
• proven numerical and quantitative skills for understanding and applying quantitative models
• a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
• excellent English (written and oral)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

• analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
• plan, organize and communicate well
• make things happen
• stick with a task
• work in a team
• come up with ideas
