Your role

Do you want to be part of a team that is responsible for driving strategic priorities and designing the best organisational set up? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly? Do you enjoy analysing complex situations and presenting them in an easily digestible manner? This role is a unique opportunity to gain insights into a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of the Wealth Management (WM) IPS Distribution Management Sector. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • supporting the head of Distribution Management and the head of Business Management in all aspects of Sector business management
  • assist with organising events and actively participate assisting with internal communications
  • prepare and develop management reporting in order to support our business leaders in day-to-day management and strategic decision making
  • develop high-quality presentations to convey key information for senior management audience
  • build relationships with our key partners such as HR, Finance and Compliance. As part of this, you will need to understand and maintain our organisational & cost centre structure.

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You will be part of the Business Management team within IPS Distribution Management based in Zurich. “DM” with its 350 employees has a mandate to build a globally aligned, scalable and increasingly data-driven sales process to drive sustainable growth and provide best-in-class investment advice and solutions to our origination functions and clients. It further supports the Wealth Management by driving and implementing its strategy, vision and key priorities

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • good judgment when dealing with sensitive information
  • the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • a good command of Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
  • excellent German and English (written and oral)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
