Your role

Are you passionate about sales and trading? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Help trading desk identify trading opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales and group treasury to gain exposure to other areas of the bank.
  • We trade fx swaps / ois / fra’s / IRS so the candidate will gain early exposure to a range of fixed income products.
  • Gain exposure to various different currencies to make an impact from day 1.

We are seeking a trading intern to join our dynamic and growing short term interest rates trading team. Ideal candidates will be motivated and have a desire to make an impact and help to grow our franchise. The role will give new traders first-hand experience to launch your trading career and to learn from our most successful members of our trading team.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You will be working within the short term interest rates trading team specializing in G10 currencies. We trade fx swaps / ois / fra’s and IRS so the candidate will gain early exposure to a range of fixed income products. We collaborate with sales and have a wide client base. We also work closely with Group Treasury.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • Demonstrated record of strong academic performance
  • Fundamental research, math and solid quantitative skills
  • Knowledge of fixed income preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated; detail-oriented
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivation, demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in previous achievements.
