Your role

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Governance and Change unit within the Regulatory Change Management team in Zurich, Switzerland. The team guides senior management on the prioritization and allocation of initiatives to address regulatory requirements affecting UBS’s businesses in Switzerland. It also assumes program management responsibility for some of these initiatives (e.g. implementation of regulatory reforms including MIFID II, FidleG, Data Protection). These activities are performed in close collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across all businesses and functions within the region.

Your expertise

You have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • a bachelor’s or master’s degree of a University or University of Applied Sciences, preferably in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Law or Economics
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and implementation skills
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, team player, flexible personality, ability to cope with pressure, intellectual flexibility and willingness to go for challenges
  • Hands-on and result oriented working attitude, can-do attitude, ability/ willingness to work independently
  • Ambition to make a positive difference to the firm and clients
  • Strong interest in gaining experience in the project management field
  • Fluency in German or English with good working knowledge of the other language, good skills in French and Italian would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
