Head of Corporate Development.

Global art platform start-up.

A large Swiss insurance company is building an in-house start-up with the focus on a global art platform. Your role as Head of Corporate Development of this newly founded startup is to turn the current proof-of-concept in a sustainable business and scale up the company afterwards. The project is in the process of being funded for 12 months and you are expected to raise an external financing round after one year.

Your tasks

• Business development: Turning the existing proof-of-concept into a sustainable business
• Identification of business strategy through conducting an ongoing market analysis
• Responsibility over the entire budget with the goal of sustainable growth
• Developing industry partnerships & relationships
• Building internal processes and staffing strategies

Requirements

• Master, MBA or PhD in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• More than 3 years experience working with online platforms
• Strong interest in art
• Business Development and entrepreneurship background
• Excellent English skills with German being a plus
• High leadership and motivating skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think “out of the box”
