To support our Finance department at our headquarters in Schaffhausen, we are looking for an

Intern Functional Controlling (m/f)

Reporting to the team lead functional controlling, the financial controlling intern supports the functional controlling department at headquarters in the financial reporting tasks and the follow-up and development of various projects. He/she works closely with the headquarters’ teams (retail, marketing, consolidation & country controllers), as well as the local entity controllers.

The timeframe of the internship will be mid of August 2019 until mid of February 2020.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the detailed brand CAPEX investment by projects (for Headquarters & distribution entities) for actuals & all planning periods
  • Retail controlling support: Update the internal boutique lease contracts database; consolidate ICS (Internal Control) boutique reports
  • Consolidation & marketing controlling support: Perform different reports during the monthly closing period; participate in the central marketing budget planning
  • Participate actively in Finance department projects with the development of new tools & procedures to improve the financial reporting
  • Perform additional duties as required

YOUR PROFILE

  • Be currently involved in an academic program or recently graduated, with specialisation in Finance/Economics
  • First experience in financial controlling, in the luxury industry a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced within MS Office programs, specifically MS Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Team player and self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Fluent in English, German or French a plus
