When joining our Talent Acquisition Innovation & Early in Career-Team you will meet 9 colleagues that focus on the recruitment of young talents, hosting events at universities (employer branding) and drive innovation within Talent Acquisition specifically and HR in general.

As our new team member you will support our line managers by providing exceptional full-cycle recruitment support for their early in career vacancies (interns, trainees, postdocs, etc.). Full cycle means you are going to be in charge of all the recruitment activities starting with conducting briefing meetings to align with business managers and ending with the arrangement of formal contract agreements.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and insights into recruiting during a very dynamic time at Roche. You will be an integral part of our Early in Career and Innovations Team, managing recruiting activities across all client groups at Roche’s Headquarter in Basel/Kaiseraugst.

During the internship in our young and dynamic team you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing of Candidates by assessing the lines need, transforming the needs into tangible job ad’s, screening applications and assessing candidates capabilities during interviews
  • Handling of candidate workflow using our e-recruitment system workday
  • Partnering with Talent Scouts, Recruiters, business departments and HR colleagues
  • Providing full-cycle Recruitment Support for all functions at Roche’s headquarter Basel/Kaiseraugst

Who you are:

You are an enrolled student in the advanced phase of your Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Psychology, Business or in a related field. You ideally have first work experience in Human Resources and you are highly motivated to share your knowledge and chip in with new ideas.

You are fluent in English and German both written and spoken and you convince us and our business partners with the following skills and competencies:

  • Excellent prioritisation and multi-tasking skills, with a high sense for quality and professional management of administrative tasks
  • Ambitious self-starter with confident and systematic attitude towards complex tasks and contents
  • Creative, persistent, driven and eager to learn
  • Excellent communicator across different hierarchical levels, with a service oriented attitude
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and social media tools

The preferred start date of the internship is June 2019. Please clearly indicate your preferred starting date and duration of internship on your motivation letter.

Due to regulations non-EU/EFTA citizens needs to provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is a mandatory part of their degree, as part of the application documents.
