We are looking for a motivated, committed person who is passionate about providing high quality advisory and audit services on risk, regulatory, capital and treasury topics to our diverse financial service clients, working in a dynamic team environment and who can provide added value for our clients.

Responsibilities & Profile

Your contribution to KPMG

  • Working as part of our team, analyse, challenge and advise our clients in the financial services industry on topics related to credit, market, operational and liquidity risk as well as capital topics
  • Develop tailor-made solutions on complex projects, using innovative and state-of-the-art approaches and in close collaboration with our clients
  • Assess whether firms in the financial services industry comply with regulatory requirements (Basel, FINMA, etc.) and relevant market practices
  • Assume responsibilities from day one and gain the opportunity to expand your skill set both on the job and through KPMG continued learning programs
  • Build strong trusting relationships with our clients and with internal stakeholders in the KPMG network

This is what makes you successful

  • Graduated with a degree in banking and finance or a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, physics or quantitative finance)
  • Having gathered some initial professional experience in the financial industry through an internship or a different kind of work setting is preferred
  • Deep analytical skills, coupled with an open and curious mind, problem solving ability and a solution-focused attitude
  • Independent, proactive working style and readiness to take on responsibility from an early stage
  • Keen interest in financial markets and banking topics and ability to pick up new things quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as team-orientation
  • Business-fluent in German and English; French language skills are beneficial
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite
  • Knowledge of at least one of R, Python, Matlab or C++. Experience with Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning is a plus

Our services include auditing or advising clients to help them identify measure, manage and monitor their risks and meet regulatory requirements and expectations.
