What you do:
- Technically responsible for the PC-24 Secondary Flight Control System
- Management of the technical aspects of vendor provided components and compliance with RTCA DO160 including the review of deliverables from the system component vendors
- Verification/compliance of system certification requirements to FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations utilising the DOORS tool
- Production of Certification Engineering Reports for submission to EASA
- Responsible for system integration and the definition of control laws and algorithms
- Support in-service and production for system test, trouble shooting and continued airworthiness
- Responsibility for investigations and feasibility studies for new technologies in the field of electromechanical flight controls
What you bring:
- University Degree in aeronautical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
- Experience in the aerospace field as Mechanical Systems Engineer
- Proficient understanding of electro-mechanical control law and system architectures
- Knowledge of mechanical systems safety architectures are beneficial
- Good English spoken and written is a must, knowledge of German an advantage
- Proven strong vendor management skills
