MAIN PURPOSE

In line with the Maison long-term strategy, the Sales Manager is responsible all sales and distribution of the Maison in the country / region.

Reporting to the Commercial Director - South East Asia, the Sales Manager’s main mission is to propose and implement a relevant strategy for the country / region, and ensure that all levels (Wholesale, Retail, Marketing, Communication and People Management) are optimized to grow the Maison in this region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

DISTRIBUTION & SALES

    • Achieve sales target and objectives.
    • Put in place an action plan per retailer to drive sell out.
    • Identify strategic and tactical opportunities to improve and leverage distribution for the market/ region.
    • Develop, maintain and leverage relationships with local business partners
    • Optimize visibility of the Maison by making sure corporate guidelines are strictly followed, and by negotiating extra visibility whenever possible.
    • Control and maintain quality of POS as per visual merchandising guidelines.
    • Monitor competitive brands and in-house brand activities
    • Ensure comprehensive brand and product training throughout the distribution network

OPERATIONS

    • Ensure stock availability on POS level, according to the Maison’s guidelines
    • Allocate stock regionally to retailers
    • Analyse and manage each POS physical inventories and propose action plans to ensure healthy stock holding. (i.e. rebalancing of stocks within retailers, adjustment of model stock etc) to optimize sell out.
    • Support and implement Richemont’s and Masion’s global systems and platform implementation (Booster & Watch Live)

RETAILIZATION

  • Assist and support SEA Retail Manger in retailization implementation action plans for external boutiques.
    • Support and train external boutiques on CRM & Client Experience (CX) Strategies and appropriate use of CRM tools in the boutiques, including training plans, extractions analysis and follow up on CRM matters.

MARKETING

    • Support implementation of local marketing strategy to promote the Maison in the country / region
    • Propose and work with SEA Marketing Team to create and host events/ exhibitions.

TRAINING

  • Ensure comprehensive brand and product training throughout the distribution network.
  • Define and implement a training calendar per POS (product, selling ceremony)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience in sales of luxury goods (watches, fashion, etc.) - wholesale and retail
  • Excellent people relationship skills, sales and organisation/ time management skills
  • Able to work independent and as a team.
  • Agile, with strategic and analytical abilities, precise working style, hard worker.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office and skilled in IT applications (SAP)
  • Good communication skills and fluent in both written and spoken English and Local Language.
  • Experience in marketing and/or PR will be a plus
