Your role

Are you confident to work in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment? Do you want to be part of a successful and demanding team?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

• support equity analysts in their daily business and get a better understanding of what equity analysis at UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office (CIO) is all about.
• actively support the equity research team to contribute in the creation and after-sales of equity-related thematic investment ideas
• support the team in their need to prepare presentations and participate in interesting one-off projects.
• join decision making meetings and meet senior management of interesting companies under coverage.
• enjoy regular contact with senior analysts and strategists within CIO globally but also with analysts, strategists and economist from bulge-bracket international investment banks

Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Equity Research team in Zurich, Switzerland, which forms an integral part of CIO within UBS Global Wealth Management. We are an internationally diverse, ambitious and fun team, passionate about creating equity related thematic research ideas as the backbone of the UBS Global Wealth Management equity franchise.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

• an interest in financial markets and come up with ideas
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
• the ability to analyze a problem, take a view, come to a decision and make things happen
• an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• the ability to write well in English, with German skills being beneficial
