Your role
Do you want to design and build next generation business applications using the latest technologies? Do you believe in collaboration between business- and technical experts to achieve best results? Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally?
We’re looking for someone like that to:
- develop technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
- design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages in a cross-functional scrum team

- identify ways to continuously improve and become more effective as a team
Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team
You’ll be working in a dynamic Scrum team in the Digital Client Lifecycle Release Train in Zurich.
The Digital Factory represents the new way of working at UBS with the aim to quickly develop innovative solutions and to digitize key client journeys end to end. We build digital solutions for existing and prospective clients and have a proven track record of being first to market and ahead of the competition by evolving our solutions accessed by thousands of users every day.
While you are working on creating the world’s best banking platform you get the chance to join communities of practice according to your personal interest, sessions on innovation topics, social events and much more.
Your expertise
You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.
In particular, you have:
- an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a scrum team
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
- a passion to learn about modern software development techniques and preferably experience with Java
- excellent English (written and oral)
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with a technical focus
Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
Start date: by agreement, preferred 1st July 2021
