Your role

Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you want to acquire experiences as data analyst?

We are looking for someone like that to:

• cover regular business reporting and ad hoc analysis
• support our team with data preparation and investigations
• conduct regular data maintenance in our reporting MIS, verifying and enriching client static and trade data
• help our business stakeholders with data integrity related trade adjustments and investigations
• reconcile various data feeds, client information and static data
• engage in the automation of workflows

Your team

You will be working in the IB Client Switzerland team in Opfikon. We are part of Reporting & Analytics Services (RAS) within Finance, a global unit of business analysts and subject matter experts covering any kind of reporting requirements within UBS. RAS IB Client engages in a whole range of responsibilities: conducting regular and ad hoc client reporting, performing business analyses and trade investigations, coordinating with IT and ensuring database changes get properly implemented, supporting business management in their daily decision taking, by providing them with the relevant client MIS information they need. Our main clients are senior management, distribution business and sales teams of the Investment Bank, as well as COO and CFO Office, Group Controlling and Finance.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

• studied at least four semesters at a university with focus on business administration, banking and finance, economics, computer science, mathematics or similar
• a gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
• a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you are a people person)
• excellent English (written and oral)
