Software Development Engineer

What you do

• Defining software requirements based on system specifications
• Architecting the software and completing detailed design based on those requirements
• Developing software according to those designs
• Troubleshooting and resolving software problems

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development, ideally in aviation (DO-178B) or other compliance-focused environment
• Knowledge of C and Ada, XML is desired
• Knowledge of ARINC 429, 1553 and/or serial data bus architectures
• Knowledge of VxWorks or other RTOS
• Familiarity with Git, DOORS, JIRA, LDRA, and/or Rapita is advantageous
• Good written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of German advantageous
