What you do

• Create and manage time, resources and costs plans and schedules for the design and implementation of Pilatus training systems products, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Collaborate directly with the engineering teams (system, hardware and software) to decide on the most appropriate engineering tasks and sequence of activities for each project stage
• Collaborate with production engineering to ensure correct planning and delivery of fabricate components (e.g. parts and components)
• Define the necessary KPIs to analyse projects performances, address any arising deficiency or risk and write the required project reports
• Support estimation activities for timelines and costs of new projects
• Support reviews of the department engineering practices

What you bring

• Degree in computer or electronic engineering. University master degree represent an advantage
• At least three years of working experience in engineering planning and management of activities for the design and development of products for the aeronautical or automotive industry
• Sound knowledge of system engineering processes and standards (e.g. IEEE 15288 or equivalent)
• Proficiency in project management practices and procedures as well as project management tools as Microsoft Project, BigPicture or similar
• High emotional intelligence to manage working group dynamics
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure on parallel tasks
