PS NEXT is looking for a crew member with a passion for the innovation area who desires to come on board to work with us to grow intrapreneurship spirit and mindset across our organization and thus to actively contribute to the creation of an innovation culture.
PS NEXT is an open Innovation Network of the Pharma Site (PS) Organization in Basel and Kaiseraugst (Switzerland) and a member of the Innovation Lab. The goals of PS NEXT are set to proactively support an implementation of an overarching innovation framework as well as to provide a platform for exchange and bottom up inspiration to foster creation of innovative ideas and revealing value-adding opportunities. Those ideas and opportunities are in the long term key to evolve the PS business model and product offering into maximizing our value proposition towards our customers.

- Play an active role in the further development of our PS NEXT Innovation Network
- Learn how to apply and facilitate innovation methods and tools
- Help us to develop innovation frameworks further

You are a positive thinking and self-reflective personality with strong communication skills. You have an open mind for the daily challenges and you offer professional as well as personal assistance. You take over the responsibility and strengthen the trust within the team through transparency and an open “failure-culture”. Furthermore, you have the ability to network and a great organizational talent. Your great interest in people and the familiarity with agile methods and tools complete your profile.
Following professional skills and interest are of a high value to us:
- Interest for innovation management
- First understanding of innovation & customer-centric methodologies e.g. design thinking and lean start-up
- Ability to structure content and deliver conceptional work
- Excitement to host and facilitate workshop and events
- Passion and ability to design, structure and formulate content to be distributed in our various communication channels e.g. writing skills, video editing, social media
Although pirates in our souls we belong to a navy. Here are some hard requirements:
- You are an enrolled student in a Bachelor or Master’s degree program or completed your studies within the last 12 months
- You are fluent in German and English both spoken and written
- CV and Motivation Letter (including desired start date and duration)
- A certificate of enrollment (if you are currently studying)
Due to regulations, non-EU/EFTA citizens have to provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents.
We optionally invite you to submit a link to a short video in your motivation letter (no longer than 3 minutes) to compliment your application that answers the following questions:

The expected start date of the internship is no later than February/March 2022 (earlier start date also possible upon availability) Duration: at least 6 months.
