Job description

When it’s all about successful management of our clients’ compensation and payroll, it’s your turn!

Our Global Employer Services (GES) team, part of the Tax & Legal practice at Deloitte, provides multi-national companies with targeted advice and strategies for running Global Mobility programs in an efficient manner. Our team supports clients with the end-to-end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees and with local Swiss payroll and shadow payroll solutions. And this where you come into play:

You will become one of our Global Mobility tax and immigration professionals. While working in an international environment, you will further develop our fast-growing payroll offering. We consider Swiss and international payroll as one of our key focus areas for future growth - and you can be part of this exciting journey.

How you can make an impact

  • Ensure proper documentation of all monthly/quarterly/semester/annual payroll changes, and maintain our payroll databases regularly by using ABACUS where the data collection, control of master data, and adjustments have been previously assessed, consolidated and are in accordance with country local requirements.
  • Enter data into databases and spreadsheets, handle direct deposits of salary payments via EBICS, distribute payslips, ensure payroll controlling through internal checks - all in compliance with the applicable payroll laws and regulations, of course.
  • Liaise with local social security, tax and pension authorities for accurate monthly withholding tax and social security reports via ELM.
  • Support your colleagues with accurate payroll offerings, insightful PowerPoint presentations, helpful payroll statistics, and also schedule, facilitate and participate in client meetings where you advise clients on payroll / shadow payroll compliance (Swiss and international).

Who we are looking for

  • You have a flair for numbers, excellent analytical skills, impress with your conscientiousness and trustworthiness, and like to work in a solution-oriented, independent and responsible manner
  • Commercial education and further education in the HR/Payroll area or within tax
  • At least 3 years of professional experience and a good network in the Swiss market in order to build client relationships
  • Growing interest in learning new systems and a technical affinity for the usage of payroll tools (Abacus/SAP)

Your team

Your new colleagues at our Zurich office form a diverse, multinational and highly motivated team of more than 50 people. We will help you to grow both personally and professionally: through our trainings, mentoring programmes and on-the-job learning, but also by connecting with your colleagues across all business lines. Our working environment provides opportunities for creative and self-motivated employees, keen to develop themselves, their team and our relationship with our clients.
