Your role

Do you enjoy juggling multiple projects at the same time? Do you excel in a multinational environment? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Support us in the Project Management Office
  • Provide administrative help to Project Managers
  • Maintain project documentation including tracking of action items, deliverables and program financials
  • Organize team meetings and workshops
  • Prepare meeting presentations

Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Platform Project team in Zurich. We are a global team with members working from Switzerland, Italy, UK, SG and Taiwan. We strongly value teamwork and a Can Do attitude. We work solution-oriented through pragmatic approaches to be able to drive the required transformation.

The Wealth Management Platform is one of the biggest strategic initiatives within UBS. Wealth Management is fully committed to developing a state-of-the-art operating platform which offers top quality services, quick response times and cost efficiency.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

  • Great communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • A flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • A structured work style, confident working autonomously
  • The ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • A gift for numbers, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
  • A good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English (written and oral), German or Italian beneficial

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.

Duration: 6 months (possible to extend up to 12 months)
Start Date: 1st February 2019
Pensum: 50-100 %
