Internship in software development and data analysis for semiconductor characterization 80-100%
ABB Corporate Research, in close collaboration with varied ABB business areas, is developing the foundations for the next generation of ABB products. Our Semiconductor Systems group is currently looking for an intern to support the software development and data analysis for semiconductor characterization. The internship shall last six months and start on April 1st or a later date by agreement.
Tasks:
- Design, maintain and document code for data science techniques applied to semiconductor characterization
- Perform measurements, analyze data to test hypothesis and assess device performance
- Provide recommendations and write technical reports
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, physics, or a related subject (advanced B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree); official enrollment essential
- Excellent knowledge of the python programming language and possibly of the pandas library for data analysis
- Solid knowledge of best practices of software architecture and software testing
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work independently but also in a team
