Entry Level Design Quality Assurance Specialist RMD Systems
The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual who would like to grow as a Design Quality Assurance (DQA) Specialist for medical device products. Our multi-cultural team covers a wide product range, where design control spans several areas, such as Instrument Hardware, Software, Consumables and/or Assays. The role of a DQA Specialist is an entry level to the DQA Manager. As a DQA Specialist you are responsible that applicable regulations, standards and Roche procedures are followed during product development and product care. In this position you will also be an active and engaged member in local and global multi-disciplinary projects and product teams.
As the DQA Specialist, you will be faced with the following main tasks:
- Collaborating with R&D, you provide support and guidance to project teams during the development of new and maintenance of on market products to ensure sustainable compliance of design control procedures
- You ensure process compliance by verifying document content, performing formal inspection of documents and train the business in quality topics
- Managing the DQA activities with a proactive, business solution oriented approach, you promote a culture of quality awareness and establish effective relationships

To be successful in this role you will have at minimum a degree in a technical/scientific discipline e.g. Medical (Device) Technology or Engineering, Chemical, Physical or Biological Sciences, or a qualification of equal value for the allocated tasks.

The following qualifications would be an asset:
- training in 21CFR820, ISO 13485
- experience in medical device development
- training or experience as a project manager
