During our 18-months program you get to choose three different assignments (one abroad) from a variety of projects like engineering, business development, sales, service, process improvement, project or product management and many more. Your responsibilities

  • Take on full responsibility for three different assignments, e.g. in engineering, sales, project management, operations, lean manufacturing, supply chain, service, and many more (usually one of them abroad)
  • Explore your interests through challenging and impactful projects where you are fully integrated into the team
  • Actively contribute to diverse social events and team activities and use the chance to establish a broad network within Hitachi ABB Power Grids
  • Develop your strengths with the help of regular feedback on your performance and clearly established performance objectives

Your background

  • Graduates (Bachelor and/or Master) from university or applied science university in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, machine technology, industrial engineering, or a related discipline (Studies completed before the start of the program)
  • You graduated no more than 1½ years ago
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
  • Permanent work permit for Switzerland or EU/EFTA citizenship is required
  • Analytical and solution-focused personality
  • Determined, open-minded, and communicative team player with excellent ability to collaborate

Additional Important information: Start date of the program is April 1, 2021. The position will be open for applications until October 31, 2020. Video-interviews will be done beginning of November 2020 and you will be informed by mid-November if you are invited to the assessment center. The Assessment Center will be held on December 1, 2020. The virtual one-day assessment center is required in order to be selected, so please tentatively hold the date. Final decisions will be made directly after the assessment center.
