Engineering Trainee

What you do:

• You will learn the basics of aircraft development, construction and production as part of a trainee programme that can be adapted on an individual basis
• Depending on your specialisation (electrical/avionics systems or structure) you will work in various areas of our Engineering and Production units:
• 4-month introduction: electrical/avionics systems or structure engineering, production and maintenance training
• 9-month consolidation: flight physics, flight tests, safety, reliability and maintainability, certification, after-sales service, procurement, quality assurance and other specialist areas in engineering, assembly and maintenance
• Additional internal training (e.g. Design Organisation processes, Project Management, Aircraft familiarisation, etc.)

What you bring:

• Completed University study (ETH/EPFL/ZHAW or equivalent) in Electrical, Avionic or Structural Engineering
• Interest in innovation and aviation
• Fluency in German, English at least on level B2
• Logical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to work to processes and procedures both independently and as part of an international team
• Adaptability, willingness to learn and initiative You will be assigned an experienced engineer, who will act as your mentor throughout the trainee programme. Please note in your cover letter which position you are interested in.
