We are looking for you to join our newly established Account Management Center of Excellence (CoE) embedded in the Core Business Services (CBS) team - experts in Business Process Management, Customer Relationship Management and specific business areas who can draw on numerous best practices and tools in their work. We are a standalone unit responsible for supporting the business and seeing even the most complex projects through to successful completion.

We bridge EY’s overarching strategy and day-to-day operations, document lessons learned and best practices, and facilitate the reuse and adaptation of proven solutions to our various stakeholders.   • Participate in the strategic planning process for the market segment in the identification of the appropriate go-to-market activities required to achieve the market leadership plan
  • Work closely with the CoE and support the implementation of our CoE programs such as sales campaigns, growth platforms and other prioritized initiatives that support opportunity development and account management
  • Coordinate with CoE functional specialists and other firm resources as needed to support any other market segment/ account team needs
  • Oversee Market Segment/Industry Sector reporting, review and distribute pipeline information specific to the target audience. Analyze and identify trends and/opportunities
  • Ensure the timely distribution of reporting and analysis for the group. May initiate activities to enhance pipeline integrity. Track the results of go-to-market initiatives and provide frequent communication on status
  • Collect/disseminate best practices, knowledge and insight relevant to the go-to-market strategies. Promote awareness of the priorities within the CoE
  • May assume expanded role within specific account teams that may not have BD resources assigned.
  • Lead and facilitate some of the account planning/account team meetings. May participate in Assessing Service Quality (ASQ) activities for the group
  • Ability to review reports, interpret data and identify trends that will assist in further targeting appropriate go-to-market activities that will generate pipeline growth for the service line
  • Act as a project manager for specific market segment activities within Life Science, Energy, Consumer Retain or Automotive and manufacturing
  • Working location Basel, Geneva, Lausanne or Zurich

What you can contribute - skills for shaping the future

  • A bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent relevant experience gained in Switzerland (a Swiss work permit is a must)
  • In-depth knowledge of firm’s account management and relationship and opportunity tools and processes
  • Ability to quickly gain a deep knowledge/expertise in the firm’s solutions and service offerings
  • Strategic thinking, analytical and strong facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of market and industry dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple complex projects and initiatives at one time
  • Strong influencing skills are required to work with other members of the BD or market segment/service line/industry sector team to get results. Also required to collaborate effectively with other functional groups within EY
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including strong command of English and German
