Fair pay
In the full-time position of Step In Site Reliability Engineering (employment level of 100%), you will receive a gross salary of: CHF 34 - 64K per year, depending on what stage you have reached in your studies and/or your final qualification (specialisation).
Job location
In this 60 to 100% job you have the possibility to work partly from home.
You travel up to 30% of your working time within Switzerland.

Team
You work in an international team with colleagues from Switzerland, Rotterdam, and Riga. You mainly work remotely, but you have the opportunity to work from the office as well. Per location, we hire one to two people. The maximum size of the team is set to seven.
As we want to work agile, you and your team are self-organized. You work with Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

The theme
Are you interested in designing and developing a tool that is used for releasing software components on demand?
Feature Flag is a tool that supports teams to do exactly that. This project will be used for feature toggling. There are already some tools leading the market. You help us research and investigate the features and capabilities of those tools. Since they will be used by a broad community of stakeholders, stakeholder management is crucial for your success.
Later, you jointly develop a minimum viable product that can be used among different programming languages. The overall architecture covers a system integration via REST APIs and toggles that can be switched on/off.
Your professional profile

Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript (e.g. Node.js)
- Basic knowledge of DevOps or SRE
- Experience in implementing some services/applications
- Basic understanding of software architecture
