You want to take the next step in your career? As a member of our Asset Management & Funds Team, you will advise banks, insurance companies, financial institutions and other financial service providers on a wide range of regulatory topics with a focus on financial market law issues in the area of asset management and funds

Responsibilities & Profile
Your contribution to KPMG
- Advise Swiss and international banks, insurance companies and other financial service providers on all aspects of financial market regulation with a particular focus on the asset management & fund industry (BA, FINIA, FINSA, FINMA licensing, CISA, ISA, etc.)
- Draft legal clarifications on financial market law issues (focus on Swiss legislation considering international influences)
- Lead and support mandates in the legal but also audit area
- Review and draft local and group-wide internal regulations and guidelines
- Analyze the impact of regulations on financial institutions and financial service providers
- Develop solutions in relation to the impact and implement them for clients
- Contribute to topic development and marketing activities (publications, presentations, blogs, etc.)
This is what makes you successful
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry gained within a financial institution, consulting firm and/or law firm
- Experience and knowledge in the asset management & fund area and the relevant laws and regulations, particularly FinIA, FinSA, CISA and related regulation
- Law degree from a Swiss University or equivalent education; bar admission and/or LLM or doctorate are a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and German; other languages are an advantage
- High customer and team orientation and great commitment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude
- Self-initiative and result-oriented way of working
- Willingness and ability to deploy and professionally guide younger colleagues
- Dedicated and motivated personality, able to work autonomously while being a team player
