What you do

• Responsibility for one or more mechanical systems
• Design, development, qualification and certification of mechanical components and systems to meet FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations
• Technical reporting, in-service technical support, technical query answering and investigations
• Technical liaison and vendor management with external suppliers of systems and equipment
• Aircraft ground testing and support to flight testing
• Aircraft production support

What you bring

• University Degree or equivalent in aeronautical or mechanical engineering
• Minimum five years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration and certification environment
• Specialist knowledge in one or more mechanical systems
• Environmental qualification of aircraft components to RTCA DO-160 and development of complex electronic hardware to RTCA DO-254
• Experience with requirement development, tracking and validation
• Excellent communicator, highly organised and able to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
