The global Finance function of Hitachi Energy is in embarking on a strategic transformation program to meet the demands of the future - data and insight driven, increased automated processes, digitalization opportunities and the new role of the Finance function and human capital. The finance transformation will leverage on the Reiwa transformation1 program in order to provide enhanced value added services while addressing evolving business needs. We are looking for a strong candidate for the position of the Finance Competency - Intern to support the Finance Competency and Transformation Manager to develop the capabilities of the finance organization and ensure we maintain and retain our talent. Responsibilties include establishing a robust competency program and related activities including monitoring, reporting, communications as well as change and program management activities. 1Reiwa is a transformation program to build the new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for Hitachi Energy. It is a strategic, global and highly complex business transformation program to design and implement a harmonized core and common business processes, enabled by a scalable and flexible state-of-the-art ERP-solution across Hitachi Energy.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the development/update of the global Finance training curriculum which is aligned to training needs
  • Maintain and update course catalogue (source and intranet)
  • Provide project management support to Finance substreams/stakeholders on development of training plan and other requirements
  • Maintain performance dashboards and reporting to report statuses and progress for continous improvement actions
  • Manage training source file repository
  • Work with external service providers on training development
  • Support related communication activities on course catalogue updates/changes / webinars / general finance communication
  • Support roll-out of a training curriculum
  • Support enhancement of intranet site (Finance Competency and Webinar) and identify improvement opportunities
  • Carry out team meeting / workshop organization and facilitation/follow up actions and general administration activities
  • Ensure executional excellence throughout the area of responsibility for all finance competency requirements

Your background

  • Appropriate Bachelor or Master degree in related specialization area (e.g. Learning and Development, Communications, Change Management, Business Administration)
  • Some experience in Learning and Development, communications, web content as well as change and project management
  • Excellent English skills (written and oral) and good understanding of training needs and people related topics
  • Ability to work successfully in multi-cultural teams, good interpersonal skills and build strong relationship with key local and global stakeholders
  • Flexible and adaptable to work with multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast, fluid and dynamic environment
  • Resilient attitude and stress tolerance
  • Proactive and structured mindset
