(Senior) Consultant - Data Analytics in Tax
Work alongside our Tax service lines and Data Analytics experts to successfully deliver solutions to our clients. While being a part of the Tax & Legal function, you are also part of our larger data analytics community with the chance to work on a wide range of projects and leveraging advanced technologies!
Your contribution to KPMG
- Execute the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) steps, including: assessing client’s datasets, identifying missing data and correcting errors, enhancing and transforming data, and loading into the appropriate platforms
- Deliver internal and external projects by utilizing Alteryx and programming languages to integrate, validate, and manipulate data, and visualize results in Tableau/PowerBI
- Build various types of data models and workflows to support the Tax & Legal department and act as a link between the teams
- Help to design, develop, and support new and current ETL processes considering different source and target systems and employing industry standards and best practices
This is what makes you successful
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with quantitative and analytical background preferred
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience in a data-driven role
- Advanced knowledge in Alteryx and Tableau / PowerBI. Knowledge in SQL, R or Python are beneficial
- Able to develop and implement ETL routines according to the DWH design and architecture
- Written and oral proficiency in German and English is required
- Highly motivated team player and open to connect to other teams with a positive attitude and interest in understanding tax, legal and finance matters
