Junior Structured Trade Finance Officer (m/f)

Your Role

• Daily follow-up and update of positions and files
• Structuring of transactions
• Liaising with different departments within the group to obtain information and required collateral documentation
• Preparing bank instructions(finance requests, payment orders, LC applications, B/L endorsements, warehouse releases, etc) in corrdination with trade, L/C and logistics departments
• Making finance cost calculations
• Coordination new account opening and KYC procedures
• Checking/coordinating approval of legal documentation in relation to credit facilities
• Weekly ad-hoc reporting
• Monitoring commodity markets and developments within Commodity Trade Finance
• Contribute to overall finance strategy
• Help develop new and existing bank relations
• Actively partake in new credit facility negotiations

Requirements

• You have 2-3 years’ experience in commodity trade finance

• You are looking for a new challenge in a commodity trading house

• 2-3 years of experience in commodity trade finance, preferably in a bank
• University degree in Finance, Master degree is a plus
• Team-player with great ability to work independently
• Good understanding of commodity trade
• Humble, meticulous, adaptive, pro-active and responsible personality with a can do attitude
• Fluency in English, any other language is a plus
• Advances Excel skills, experience with SAP is a plus
• Swiss work permit
