Your role

Are you ready to go the extra mile? Do you know your way around numbers? We are looking for someone like that to:

  • Support the execution of securities lending transactions to cover the firm’s fixed income short positions
  • Perform product relevant internal control tasks
  • Provide support to traders in their daily business (recalls, returns, interest rate changes, etc.)

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in a multi-cultural team who is in contact with all the major international investment banks. Also you’ll get a thorough understanding of what collateral trading and financing is and learn how bonds / equities are traded in the lending and borrowing world. Joining the Securities Lending and Finance team will provide you with an exciting investment banking experience. Exposure to a range of challenging tasks broadens your professional skills and offers you early recognition for achievement.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

  • At least 4 semesters completed at a University or a University of Applied Sciences, preferably with a focus on Finance or Accounting
  • Excellent English (written and oral)
  • Ability to work accurately and efficient under pressure
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), preferably also some knowledge of Bloomberg and Visual Basic programming
  • Basic knowledge of fixed income markets is advantageous
  • Ability to extend internship by an additional 3-6 months is an asset
