EU Affiliates Manager Trainee in Regulatory Affairs (2 years)

The EU Liaison team is a member of the EU PDR group, which has the mission to support the EU Regulatory Community of Roche in navigating the EU environment. Within this group, the EU Liaison team is in particular responsible to strengthen the collaboration and the communication among the members of the EU Regulatory Community of Roche Affiliates (PTR and PDR), to develop &¨optimize EU specific processes related to licenses registration and maintenance as well as to increase efficiency and consistency of operations, to lead projects / activities impacting multiple products in EU.

We are currently looking for a trainee to join our team. You will represent PDR corporate contact for the 28 EU affiliates in collaboration with other members of EU Liaison staff to foster an environment of full collaboration with the affiliates, understanding their business needs and challenges, building a strong partnership with PDR and PTR.

To do so your key responsibilities and tasks will be to:

  • Maintain platforms for communication between PDR, DRA, PTR to facilitate information sharing and to enable regulatory organizations to work efficiently
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an efficient and robust system across PDR and PTR to deliver adequate communication on product regulatory information to meet business needs of DRA affiliates, Region Europe, PDR management
  • Interact when appropriate with other functions within and outside of PDR to ensure that EU affiliates requirements are met to fulfil our business needs
  • Support other functions within and outside of PDR in alignment with other members of EU Liaison staff to assure a good communication and collaboration with EU affiliates
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and operational excellence within the department and cross-functionally to increase efficiency and consistency and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Support organization of venues and networks that bring the DRA/PDR/PTR communities together to discuss project or topics of importance

You hold a University Degree, preferably in a life science discipline. Regulatory experience within EU with involvement with EU affiliates would be a plus. However the maximum of work experience for this role is limited to 2 years after graduation.

  • Technical Competence: possess working knowledge of requirements and regulatory environment in EU
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
