For our Trauma / CMF R&D department in our EMEA headquarters (Zuchwil) we are looking for a highly committed:

R&D Intern 6 -12 months

By participating in the daily business, you will receive during your internship a deep insight into the medical device industry and requirements relating to product development and maintenance.

Tasks:

Working in a team of engineers, you will become familiar with the tasks of a development engineer. You will work closely with our R&D engineers and support numerous work activities as part of the development process of new medical devices, as well as in the maintenance of existing products in the market. Depending on the status of the project, this may involve working in different phases of the project (i.e. concept, design, implementation, and up to market release and technical lifecycle support). In your internship, you will not only receive a very broad overview of these exciting areas, but also will be able to make a direct contribution to the welfare of patients around the world.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

You are a budding mechanical engineer (FH, ETH, min. 2 years of study) and interested in the areas of product development and medical devices. During your studies, you have developed skills in the areas of design, computing, mechanical testing and validation that you are now looking at applying in practice to further deepen your skills. You are well versed in English (written and oral) and German. CAD skills (ProE / Creo) are also beneficial. We offer a varied job in an innovative and global company.
