Your role

Do you like to work in financial markets? Are you a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset? Are you interested in Cross Asset Class Platform Solutions? Do you enjoy engaging with clients and colleagues? We are looking to grow our Global Markets Franchise Sales Team in Switzerland and you will:

• help sourcing new client opportunities
• evaluate client opportunities from a commercial, operational and risk point of view
• support our clients with day-to-day asks, providing them with 1st class service every day
• work with senior colleagues in Futures & Options (Exchange Traded Derivatives), from other IB businesses and in other UBS divisions
• collaborate with stakeholders in our trading, client service and operations teams
• foster relationships with clients and colleagues as you build your career

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be joining a global Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) franchise, specifically working in the clearing platform sales team in Opfikon. We cover a wide range of clients with a need to access the global futures and options markets (cross-asset). We collaborate closely with a team of colleagues who support our product across the globe. Our role is multi-faceted covering the client lifecycle from onboarding to daily operation. The skills are sales focussed yet analytical thinking is indispensable.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular you have:

• an interest in working in an international environment as part of a team
• a flexible, open-minded, and cooperative personality with a business mindset
• an interest in financial markets and products as well as financial markets regulation
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure)
• fluency in English and any other languages is a plus
