Your role

We are looking for someone like that to:

• support the delivery of solutions that improve the productivity and effectiveness of analysts’ community within CIO
• support building a modern cloud-based data platform
• generate insights and models based on transactional and behavioral data

Your team

You will be part of the CIO Data Analytics team in Chief Investment Office (CIO) in our Zurich location. Our Data team is at the heart of CIO to manage and support data science efforts across different business areas. It is a global team based in Switzerland. At the heart of this project is the ability to systematically analyze and build models supporting business to make data driven decisions. Our focus is always the client!

Your expertise

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

• a university degree, preferably in an analytical field (Statistics, Physics, Finance, IT or Engineering) or a comparable education proving your skills in handling data
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, propensity to move from prototyping to concrete implementation avoiding “analysis paralysis”
• hands on experience with one or more programming languages (i.e. Python, R, NodeJs), Python is a must
• hands on experience with data science libraries like scikit, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow
• experience with scripting languages (bash, etc.)
• understanding of a broad range of platforms and technologies (GitLab, Jenkins, AirFlow, …)
• understanding of Agile Development best practices
• high level of curiosity and awareness of emerging technologies, particularly in large language models like ChatGPT
