Your role

Are you curious about FinTech and the impact advances in technology have on financial services? Are you looking to move into the industry but need some experience to get your start? Do you want to be a part of bringing a brand new offering to market, working with clients across the world?

We’re looking for a structured, entrepreneurial thinker to:

  • support our Head of Business Development in the management of our client relationships and sales efforts
  • craft top-notch client materials like pitch books, websites, demo tools to create a compelling client experience
  • drive our client and competitor intelligence efforts to assess what is happening in the market and position our offering accordingly
  • interface with senior management to position our offering internally and externally

Internship
Our 3-6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Business Development team for UBS Partner in Zurich, Switzerland.
UBS Partner is a technology company run by UBS Asset Management which builds a new value proposition that will shape the way our clients - i.e. other banks - deliver investment advice to their end-clients. Getting the new offering to market is one of the highest priorities of the UBS Asset Management division as well as the UBS Group. Our team is diverse, international and highly motivated.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • Preferably a grade in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or a focus on topics such as: Change Management, Communications, Education, Psychology, etc.
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • International experience and previous work experience is not required, but a plus.
  • English is a must. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint. Good knowledge of Excel and Word.

Your personality:

  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • an open, flexible and extroverted personality
  • a strong interest in financial markets
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
