Internship Project Management for 3 to 12 months

General

One of our strategic innovation project aims at using a side stream product in human food with the target to improve nutritional value of diverse food products as well as contributing to the sustainable use of natural resources. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and motivated personality. You will work in an interdisciplinary team, in projects that are both, of direct industrial impact and in the context of the fourth industrial revolution.

Tasks

Design the ideal process solution for the raw material including securing food safety, analyzing the process efficiency and doing trials to understand the different process steps and define the optimal process sequence
Independently plan and carry out trials to validate process steps and equipment considering all the involved stakeholders
Contact potential suppliers and arrange trials / trial equipment
Present results in a clear and concise manner to the project owners – project team and advisory board / steering committee
Document trial results and findings

Education

Educational background in process engineering and knowledge in food- or biotechnology
Food loving and technology oriented personality
Ability to illustrate and express complex subject matter in a clear and concise way (verbally and in written form)
Initiative and independent way of working

Ability to quickly gain a comprehensive overview of complex subject matters
Fluent English, German of advantage
