Your role

Do you want to help guide the investment decision making of some of the world’s wealthiest individuals?

On this internship in the UBS GWM Chief Investment Office’s Investment Communications team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• learn about financial markets, global economics, and understand what daily events mean for our clients’ portfolios
• contribute to our flagship House View content, a key driver of investment decision making for clients and advisors around the world
• work with economists, analysts, strategists, product specialists, and advisors to help us join the dots between content, solutions, and clients.
• design and execute on content activation campaigns to make sure our content is successfully reaching our advisors and clients
• analyze data to help us reach more clients and with greater levels of engagement

Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Investment Communications team, who write our macroeconomic House View content, and ensure it has an impact with our clients and advisors around the world. You’ll be drawing on our global team of analysts, speaking with our network of advisors, liaising with product specialists, and leveraging the team’s capabilities to make sure our clients and advisors are well connected with award-winning content and best-in-class products.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• a gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
• an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
• a strong interest in financial markets
• an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
• excellent English (written and oral)
